PNGFP also manufactures the furniture, from school desks to science benches and even blackboards. Engineered to PNG and Australian building codes, the quality and durability of these kit-set buildings is unique in this country due to PNGFP’s preservative pressure treatment, which fully protects the buildings from termites and rotting. 

Employing over 1,300 Papua New Guineans, PNG Forest Products is committed to building a better future through sustainable manufacturing practices. Their manufacturing facilities in Bulolo are powered by PNGFP’s own sustainable Hydro Power stations.  All of their timber is sourced from renewable PNG pine plantations managed by the PNG Forest Authority.
